Kali Dale, a graduate research assistant at Huntsman Cancer Institute, was selected to receive the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Graduate Diversity Supplement.

Born and raised in rural Minnesota, Kali is of the Anishinaabe Nation (White Earth Band of Ojibwe Indians). She received her undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota Morris studying biochemistry. Now a graduate student at the University of Utah, she is studying cancer signaling pathways in Martin McMahon's lab and working towards her PhD in oncological sciences. When you can't find Kali in the lab, she's either skiing in the winter or enjoying summer outdoor concerts. Congratulations, Kali, on your accomplishments and this prestigious award.
