Peaches contain healthy compounds that may help reduce cancer risk, according to the American Institute for Cancer Research. Here are some tasty ways to enjoy them.

  • Dice them up and add them to oatmeal.
  • Eat them with a side of low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese.
  • Slice them up and add them to your favorite spinach salad.
  • Blend them with low-fat yogurt or milk and ice for a creamy smoothie.
  • Make peach salsa.
  • Sprinkle peach halves with a bit of brown sugar and broil them until the sugar melts. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
