Research Opportunities for Minorities

The Multidisciplinary Cancer Research Training Program (MCRTP) is committed to providing opportunities in cancer research for under-represented minorities. We encourage interested undergraduate students to apply to one of the excellent graduate programs in the biomedical sciences available at the University of Utah. For those considering postdoctoral training in cancer research, please consider applying directly to a MCRTP mentor for a position. MD fellowship opportunities in Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology are also available at the University of Utah.

The University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Institute provide a number of undergraduate research programs available to under-represented minorities. Many national organizations also have programs that provide research opportunities for under-represented minorities.
