My thesis project focuses on characterizing the genome-wide epigenetic states of human sperm chromatin. Specifically, we are interested in teasing apart the poising mechanisms that may guide certain genes towards embryonic development.

When I am not busy western blotting and cloning, I enjoy defeating the bad guys in video games such as Mario and Halo. Cooking spicy Indian food, practicing yoga, and splurging on massages are a few ways I keep myself happy and sane!
