Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine
Randall Rupper, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Utah and a member of the Cancer Control and Population Sciences Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Rupper studies ways to support the decisions of older adults about when and how to seek medical care. Cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment decisions represent an important model for decision support. In particular, he is interested in supporting the cancer-related decisions of disadvantaged populations, including minorities, rural, and low income individuals.
Rupper received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, Utah, and a medical degree from Stanford University, California.
