Yu-Huei Jessica Huang, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Utah and a medical physicist at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI).
Dr. Huang earned a bachelor's degree from National Yang Ming University, Taiwan and a PhD from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. Huang is an active member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), American Brachytherapy Society (ABS), and American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO).
Huang's clinical and research interests include brachytherapy, inhomogeneity correction in brachytherapy using Monte Carlo simulation, and image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT).
