Pamela B. Cassidy, PhD

Research Associate Professor, Department of Medicinal Chemistry

Pamela Cassidy, PhD, is a research assistant professor in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Utah and a Huntsman Cancer Institute investigator. She also collaborates with dermatology physicians to study the causes and possible prevention of melanoma. She is a member of the Cell Response and Regulation Program.

In addition, Cassidy is a scientist and reviewer with the U.S. Department of Defense's Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) for breast cancer.

Cassidy received her BA in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and her PhD in chemistry from the University of Utah. She then completed postdoctoral fellowships with the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Utah and with Huntsman Cancer Institute.
