You Han Bae, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Utah and a member of the Imaging, Diagnostics, and Therapeutics Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Bae's research involves the study of biofunctional polymers for use in cancer drugs. He is also interested in developing targeting systems for solid tumors.
He has published more than 190 peer-reviewed scientific papers, book chapters, and U.S. patents. He is a member of the American Chemical Society, the Controlled Release Society, and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. Bae is also a fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the American Academy of Nanomedicine.
Bae received an undergraduate degree from Seoul National University, Korea, and a PhD from the University of Utah.
