Program Coordinator

The Oncology Nurse Internship at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a four-month program for registered nurses pursuing careers in oncology nursing.

Interns spend the first month attending lectures and demonstrations related to oncology nursing at the cancer hospital. For the following three months, they rotate through all inpatient and outpatient areas. At the end of four months, they apply for open positions on hospital inpatient units. The program requires a two-year commitment to work at HCI, with the first year on an inpatient unit.

The Oncology Nurse Internship Program increases the knowledge and skills of our nurses, helping us continue the exemplary quality of care at HCI.
