- Demonstrate a high level of professional responsibility, dedication, and skill in a clinical environment
- Develop a working knowledge of cancer biology
- Attain sufficient practice knowledge to pass the Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist examination
- Serve as a role model and instructor for students, postgraduate year 1 (PGY1) residents, and other pharmacists
- Demonstrate motivation and responsibility for self-directed learning
- Communicate effectively and appropriately, both verbally and in writing, with health care professionals and patients
- Develop a skill set that assures competent practice in a variety of oncology settings
