To honor a special occasion or the passing of a loved one, many families choose to donate to Huntsman Cancer Foundation (HCF) in lieu of flowers or gifts.
Designate HCF. Friends and family can make gifts in honor or memory of a person who has battled cancer. The donation amount is not disclosed to the family, but they will be notified who has donated.
Place a brick in the “Walk of Hope.” Consider a gift of $350, which is the brick paver contribution level, to leave a legacy in our Walk of Hope pathway between Huntsman Cancer Institute and Huntsman Cancer Hospital. Smaller contributions to honor a loved one can also be added together. When gifts made in memory or in honor of an individual reach $350, a brick paver will be placed.
Honor a doctor or nurse. Some patients or their families choose to honor the oncologist or a favorite health care staffer who made the cancer treatment process more bearable. HCF will promptly return to you an acknowledgement of your contribution for your records and will notify the honoree, family, or friend you would like to remember.
Getting married? Consider becoming part of HCF’s Circle of Hope by putting Huntsman Cancer Institute on your gift registry. We can provide small cards for your reception tables indicating your guest made a gift in your honor.
